Quivin™ – The Smart, Gentle Way to Train Your Dog Quickly & Effectively

Got this to aid training of my Doberman, I only used the sonic once & after that just the beep & only when it’s really a case of getting her attention back she hears the beep and stops. Now if she is being a bit of a mare & not listening I just pick it up and give the instruction at the same time & she is perfectly aware of what to do & does. It’s not instead of training it an aid if you need to get the attention back. As for stopping other dogs coming near it works as well. Surprised at some of the negative responses as honestly it’s brilliant, I don’t ever shout, I don’t have to use the sonic just the beep now and a perfect example of good behaviour whenever we are out for a walk or in Starbucks.

Great little thing, works brilliantly with one of my dogs, have barely had to use the big noise as the beep and verbal command works a treat. However, my other dog runs towards you, completely unphased by it.

This definitely worked on our dog. I came back to find the link for a friend and was surprised to see so many negative reviews. So I thought I’d leave mine. Basically my dog doesn’t like the buzzer at all. Well it’s not really a buzzer, it just vibrates and I can’t hear it but my dog definitely doesn’t like it.I’ve only had to press it a couple of times. I mostly use the beeper and that signals to her I might press the buzzer. I do praise her when she stops barking though and tell her good girl. She seems to have learned. Now I only need to pretend I’m going to pick it up and she stops. So I would say it’s worth trying. I’m not sure why certain dogs would be immune to it. Definitely use it as part of a training though and remember to praise dog as well.

We didn't buy this for continued use as don't like the idea of it BUT it is the only thing we have tried that stopped our dog barking in the car.Pressed once with the word QUIET as well and he looked at us as if what was that!!! Gave him a treat with GOOD BOY. Only had to do a few times and he now just responds to the word quiet by stopping barking. What a result!!

After reading the reviews about this product I decided to try it for my very verbal GSD. She is constantly "on watch", which is great to alert me to intruders, but she doesn't stop when I tell her the "intruder" is OK. This works, although you need to keep it on your person, with treats to make sure it's effective. I mainly use the beep, as the ultra sonic makes her wince, and I'm not sure if it hurts her. She still barks to alert me, but stops much sooner, and is starting to stop when she sees "the beeper".

I am pleasantly surprised that this thing works. We have a dog next door that will bark non stop until midnight-2am. If I use this when it barks it actually stops. I have to do it a few times sometimes but it eventually stops completely.

I would highly recommend this amazing device. I have a sizu who is so reactive to other dogs . It really works .it also works on my cat ! It's far to cheap ! So easy to use . A must have in a cat dog family . Small enough to fit in your pocket and in your hand . I highly recommend

A promising start!We have some really selfish, irresponsible neighbours who got dogs for goodness knows what reason. They're walked, but most of the time they're left in a small garden to bark and howl. It's very annoying. Used a noise on YouTube which seems to stop them. But that requires using a stereo with Bluetooth and it's also audible to humans.We've tried a few devices but they didn't seem to register. They are 2 doors down.The device arrived today, with charge, and we were able to try it out. After less than a minute of responding to each bark, they stopped!I'm now waiting for them to build to their regular howling crescendo where they seem to lose all control.We also have a path near the house where folk walk dogs, and they bark and bark and bark. I completely fail to understand what pleasure that brings anyone. I'm sure this didn't used to happen. Covid dogs? Anyway, we're gonna wander over and discreetly see if it works there too. If the owners can't be bothered to train their pets to not disturb the entire neighbourhood, we will.Will report back!It feels reasonably well made and feels nice in the hand.

I was sceptical about this but was desperate to find a solution to my dogs barking.Day 3, I cannot believe how quickly this works. I read the reviews but had doubts that my two would respond let alone stop, as a pair they wind each other up.It’s a miracle gadget. I can sit in the garden without them barking at a leaf or if a seagull farts! They don’t go mental when there’s someone knocking the door, they’ve even stopped chasing the cat who torments them. I carried it with me the whole time for the first day and they quickly realised where the noise was coming from. Now if I pick it up they sit and give me their full attention, without me pressing it. I haven’t used food or treats as rewards just verbal praise and they respond so well. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work on neighbours dogs, maybe I’ll drop hints about this to them 😂

This really works. When I’m out walking I have to pass two German Shepard dogs that scare the life out of me… they are in a front garden with electric collars so they don’t come out on the roads but they go crazy barking as I pass and it’s so intimidating. Scares me every time. This has gone on for years. First day I tried the device the dogs paused barking.. second day after about three seconds they stopped barking completely and walked away from me. Absolutely amazing. I’ve had to put up with their awful aggressive barking for years and this has completely stopped it. Tried it on other dogs I come across when walking and they all back away. Highly recommend!
